  Leading food manufacturers from Korea, Vietnam and Thailand – Nongshim, Roza and VIFON are all set to make a huge presence at Myanmar’s No.1 International Food & Drinks Industry Exhibition & Conference, MYANFOOD 2018. Held at the Myanmar Event Park, Yangon from 1 to 3 November 2018, the Expo is recognised as the industry’s biggest and most important international exhibition in Myanmar for the food and drinks industry since 2013.


Nongshim has been leading the development of the Korean culinary culture since 1965. Seeking new growth potential and to lead the world food market with its creative products and specialised technologies, Nongshim’s top priority has always been quality assurance and food safety. One of the first instant food brands in Vietnam, VIFON aims to bring Vietnamese meals to the global forefront. Prioritising food safety standards, the brand has also received approval from numerous countries with strict quality management standards such as the United States, Australia, Japan and many European countries.


At MYANFOOD 2018, all three brands will be represented by Mongolia’s leading food distributor, GreenCity. The company expanded its expertise in to Myanmar in 2015. Since then, Myanmar GreenCity has cultivated over 950 customers and is aggressively building up its product collection from ready-to-eat meals to confectionary and tea.

Nongshim, Roza and VIFON will be featured alongside 250 other international brands and companies from 18 countries. Purposed to support the development and to improve the quality and professionalism levels of Myanmar’s F&B industry, the Expo is estimated to attract over 10,000 trade visitors represented by hotels, restaurants, retailers, wholesalers, importers, and many more.

In addition to being a marketing platform, MYANFOOD 2018 will put to the test Myanmar’s best. Hosted by the Myanmar Executive Chef Club, the Event will comprise various contests of skill for both the hospitality and F&B industry such as ice carving, fruit carving and bed-making. Industry professionals will also have the chance to win amazing prizes.
