    MYANFOOD/MYANHOTEL’17 EXPO NEWS:
MYANMAR’S BIGGEST CULINARY AND HOSPITALITY COMPETITIONS TO TAKE PLACE AT THE TRADE SHOW THIS NOVEMBER
 
   
 
   

The organisers of MYANFOOD’17 & MYANHOTEL’17 – Myanmar’s Biggest International Horeca and Food & Beverage Shows are pleased to announce that the exhibition will feature the staging of the Myanmar Professional Culinary & Hospitality Competitions. This series of competitions will be taking place from 17 to 19 November 2017 at the MEP Mindama in Yangon.

 
       
   
 
       
    The Myanmar Professional Culinary & Hospitality Competitions is organised by AMB Tarsus Events Group, together with the Myanmar Executive Chef Club, Golden Brown Coffee Co. Ltd. and NatRay Co. Ltd. The event will feature various categories of contests such as the Ice Carving Challenge, Bed Making Competition, the Pastry Challenge and the Latte Art Championship.

The organising committee Myanmar Professional Culinary & Hospitality Competitions, who will also form the panel of judges for the various competitions, includes some of the best in the business in Myanmar. These include Mr Kyaw Swar Soe, housekeeping manager at the Park Royal Hotel Myanmar; Mr Paul Wieser, executive chef of Melia Yangon; Mr Saw Win Phyo, housekeeping manager of Hilton Nay Pyi Taw and Mr Felix Eppisser, Swiss Michelin star chef and owner of the Seeds Restaurant & Lounge.

This event is the perfect opportunity for hospitality and F&B experts from around Myanmar to put their skills to the test among one another. Furthermore, participants will stand a chance to win prizes worth over 4,000,000 kyats.

Besides engaging in the competitions, participants can also take the opportunity to visit the various companies and brands that will be exhibiting at MYANFOOD’17 and MYANHOTEL’17. The two trade shows will serve as platforms for showcasing the latest innovations and products related to the F&B and hospitality industries. Theyare also the perfect settingfor entrepreneurs to meet and explore new business prospects and partnership opportunities.

MYANFOOD’17 and MYANHOTEL’17 are organised by AMB Tarsus Events Group, the leading international trade show organiser in Southeast Asia. The company has also organised and hosted other commercial and industrial expos in Cambodia, Laos, Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
